p.1 #1 · Refurb or what?

Hi,

I was about to buy a used 5D on ebay UK but at the last minute noticed that on the photo of the bottom plate the serial no. is photoshopped out and there is a sticker with the words "(1) WARRANTY VOID IF REMOVED".

I suspect it is a refurb. Seller says nothing about this in the description. Is he trying to hide something? Should I drop the deal?

You will have to ask him but showing a serial number to the internet masses is not good practice. Void if removed is standard.
