Really enjoying my newly converted Rokkor 85.1.7 even though it doesn't have a 5D to attach to.
(maybe I'll have to get in line for a 5D Mk2 ) Here are a few recent images from both 40D and 1D2. Live view is quite interesting for MF, but I think I might want to get a split prism focusing screen. I wish there was one made like that in the Minolta X-700. I'll have to take more shots with the 1D2, but the initial results look pretty nice.
Thanks Cogitech for the inspiration to find and convert this gem.

what do I have to do to be able to see these images?
You might be behind some type of firewall or something, but you can view them here also:

im stumped, i can't even go to pbase, and ive been there many many times before, f5 looks as if its reloading the page but I get the same results.
Your wife has figured out how to block images that might inspire another lens purchase
doing some research, there are many people that cannot reach pbase. Have not found the problem yet, but will continue to research.
Ok im tired of trying to get pbase to show up, and im just gonna give up.
If they can't provide a site that everyone can reach, then I don't have time for them.
Would love to see your pics, but everytime I try to go to pbase, a web page from ISP come up and says it cant find pbase.com. I hardly think its my ISP, why in the world would they block me from viewing pbase.
In windows, click Start, go to Run, type "cmd" and hit enter.
A command prompt should open.
Type "nslookup pbase.com" and hit enter.
The results from that will tell you if you have a DNS issue or not.
The only other thing that would cause this would be a routing issue on one of the ASs between you and them. One way or the other, it isn't in their AS, because I can get there no problem. My DNS is working fine, as well.
