My Dad was actually a superindendent on the construction of the second building from the left in the 5th picture in your original post. The one that looks really nice, I love that building.
I love the photos . Excuse my ignorance ,but what does hdr stand for ? and some of the shots , you say its like 34 shots , do you mean you shot 34 pictures, pieced them together , and then shrank the image? I dont really see why some of the shots couldnt be done in just one photo?

hdr = high dynamic range. here are some links that will help you:
If you don't have the Photomatix software, you can download the Trial version and use that - it will put a Photomatix watermark in the pic but at least you can try it out.

yes that is what I mean with the multiple shots, you take "pieces" of the scene and then merge them together using panorama software or Photoshop CS2 or CS3.
If you have a wide angle lens, you can do such photos in one shot, but then you wouldn't have a 90 megapixel completed image That's the size of the largest panorama I've done, they also obviously go smaller than that, I just finished a 44mp NYC pano last night.
There all quite stunning, but I'm mostly interested in the 4th one from the top. What was the technique you used when shooting this pano? What stitching software? Thanks for sharing them.

hey thanks for taking a look - the 4th shot.. I started from the top-left and went down to complete the view, went over to the right and went up, and repeated that until I got all the frames I needed. I had about 20% overlapping of each shot from the previous one, that's an estimate. It's something that gets easier the more you do it - like most anything else. I used either Auto Pano Pro or PTGui - I forgot which one. Hope that helps.
