p.1 #1 · Audio Background at shows - Squeezebox anyone | |
Just wondering if anybody has got any comments on using a Squeezebox Duet with a wireless connection for audio streaming at a show / exhibition. (Note all the music performing copyright licenses will have already been obtained).
I've heard excellent reviews about using this type of device for audio streaming but haven't actually got any experience with either setting it up or using it.
It seems at first glance however to be an excellent way of playing music (FLAC files) stored on a small portable USB disc connected to a laptop -- really portable method.
From what I have so far googled is that the receiver should plug straight in to the Hall's / arena's amplifier (digital / analog inputs available) and is controlled via a small Ipod like remote device.
Would be really greatful for any feedback on people who've used this or similar devices for WIRELESS Audio streaming (I'm only interested in the Audio part not Video).
Cheers
-K
