I'm a little unsure about this shot. I liked the overall look but feel that it may lack interest. Any thoughts on what might improve this concept?

Good shot, Eager! You have made the best of what is probably the biggest bane of photographers - power poles. Undoubtedly, they are among the ugliest things on the planet. Well done!

I agree that having the wires continue might make the composition more pleasing....sadly, the wires do NOT actually continue. I'm not sure how it works, but this is the end of the line for these wires. Perhaps they go underround from here.

Good angle. Ideas for improving on it? Maybe take it with warmer lighting early/late in the day. Or use a polarizer and try to get a stark deep blue sky. My 2¢.
