p.1 #1 · F-16

I got a chance to shoot an F-16, I like these three shots and would like to get other opinions.

You've got to be careful shooting an F-16... if they decide to shoot back, they'll probably win .

The gray F-16 doesn't stand out enough from the similarly-toned grayish sky in several of the pictures. A polarizing filter might have helped to darken/saturate the sky in the third picture, while maybe a some dodge/burn could help in the first.

I like the general composition of the first picture, but the third seems cluttered and confusing. Perhaps a wider view (two picture panorama?) in third that extended out to the wingtips on the left would help the image make more sense. I think you also need a tiny bit more room in front of the nose on the second; get the full curve of the nose in view instead of clipping it on the frame.

I like 1 best, because of the composition. Lots of bokeh and close in look. Really nice.

2 is good but cut off front at left and the building behind is distracting.

3 has some flare behind and frame through fins wheel at bottom. Underexposed in spots too.

1 is really nice for me.

Thanks Scott and mpmendenhall for taking the time to critique the photos. I was trying for a different approach to an aircraft rather than the typical front on shot. #1 was my pick also but I wasn't sure if I had enough aircraft in the shot to please others.

My favourite is #2, the classic F16 image. The blurred thingy over the cockpit in #1 is distracting for me. The 3rd image is an interesting perspective but I think I would prefer to see the whole of the aircaft from that angle.
