Keith that is one heck of an improvement, you stepped it up 10x over from the original post. I am glad you waited for these to bloom out more as I mentioned too. They are now like a fireworks explosion
I like your choice of glass for these too 135L is one I would like to try sometime!
Pics #2,8......similar type shots and I think your best representation of this flower the Cleome or Spider Flower as we know it. The dramatic pinks with the white stand so well against the green foilage in the BG. However you crowded the frilly tentacles that arch outward which add a great deal of drama to the flower. At the end of these will develope the long slim seed pods. Take these shots an back away to allow the whole flower and bingo, that is it! Do your best to find some space behind one of these so that BG even goes softer if you can
Awesome flower and again perhaps one of the most difficult IMO. So, to sum it up, allow this flower to breath, stay with verticals on these, and I don't think the warm light helps them because it muddies up the whites and pinks. So #8 is I think your best and by the way #3 keeps me looking too!
