p.1 #1 · Eizo choices

I guess I need to get an Eizo. My Dells don't calibrate to my satisfaction, and the Apple monitors are old and expensive for mid-level equipment.

1920 x 1200 23" - 27"

Are the newer Eizo Flexscan the best choice? What are the best calibration devices to use with Eizo?

I am using a s2411w-m Eizo calibrated with an X-rite i-1 disply 2 and it does the job fantastically. My only problem is that MS Vista keeps altering my calibrated profile.

There may be something in the startup loading the sRGB LUT.

Do a start/run/msconfig and see if anything turns up a clue.

Hey thanks, I have had a look and tempted fate by altering the colour management loader at start-up to automatic instead of manual.

I just got the Eizo ColorEdge CG222W with a ColorMunki calibration device. This is my first LCD display (other than on my laptop). I have been waiting until someone made a (sort of) reasonably priced LCD that could render colors as well a my Lacie Electron 22 Blue CRT. Well, this is it! And the bonus is that calibrating takes nothing more than hanging the ColorMunki on the screen and following on screen instructions. This took all of a half minute!

Eizo Flexscan S2100 and use it with a Spyder. Great monitor. Great colours and a breeze to setup and maintain.
