Apple Laptop Question

I have a Vista x86 HP Pavilion with a Gforce Go 7400 GPU.

I cannot calibrate the coolness out of the display. There are no temp or RGB sliders. So all I can do in the field is check for composition and focus.
I use a EyeOne Display2 but it's still too cool.

I do use ACR 4.5 but wished the temp slider would show the temp instead of +or-.. I seem to have trouble finding a temp adjustment anywhere in CS3 with a temp number reading.

I would hate to buy another notebook for a temp correction.

I am curious which 15" Apple will give me an accurate display.

Correction:

I do show a temp number in ACR, what had me off a bit was when opening .jpg's as RAW files it shows a + / - scale.

Still whant to knw how to either calibrate my HP or which apple.

Apple Laptop Question

Apple has two 15" displays currently. One is matte (anti-glare) and the other is glossy. Both screens use a backlit LED technology, instead of the more conventional fluorescent tube backlight. Most photographers prefer the matte screen. It has less issues with glare and reflections outside and calibrates easier. The glossy screen has greater apparent sharpness but the colors are too contrasty and saturated.
