Evanston Northwestern Healthcare Grand Prix of Cycling - Evanston, IL.
This annual event is part of the International Cycling Classic (Superweek) series of races held in Illinois and Wisconsin throughout July. For professional and top-category regional riders, these races promise competitive racing and large prize purses. A few shots from the day's races below. You have some excellent cycling shots here and some very interesting lighting. #5 & #10 are really good IMO.

Thank you. The #2 photo was taken at ground level between the vertical bars on the gate that lined the side of the race course.

Excelent shots, I know it can be a bit of a chalenge. We were fortunate to have the world championship races here in Hamilton Ontario a few years ago.

Very good shot s, Ed. I shot the first in the series, here in New England, for Cox Charties the PRO's race around 5PM so the light was good and they were facing the sun as they crossed the finish. Can't get much better than that! Looks like you had same 'setup'.
