i live in austria, and invariably when people ask where iīm from, and subsequently hear me say texas, they make some george bush comment which is supposed to have some implication about my culture/intelligence/whatevah.
i remind them that by the same reasoning, i could be perpetually disgusted at austrians for spewing hitler unto this earth, but have chosen the diplomatic road instead.
itīs the nature of man, to think their shite doesnīt stink.
Just because George Bush is from Texas, doesn't mean anything about other Texan's.
Same with George Bush being American. Just because he's an American, and I'm an American, doesn't mean anything.
I'm not even from Texas and I get annoyed with the "must be from Texas" thing.
Another thing that bothers me, "It's the Pittsburgh mindset". What the heck does that even mean? GRRR
