I love b&w photos, but in my very honest opinion, this looks so overdone you cooked the tonality right out of it. Far too much contrast for my taste, but I haven't seen your work either so it may be just what you like, which is what you should do I feel like it is just black and white even though I do see some greys. I'd try to redo the conversion and try to maintain the midrange values. Good luck!
