"Nervous bokeh" is something I get from Klaus at Photozone... It doesn't sound flattering but I guess most lenses can make it in certain situations.
Actually, I was hoping to get very busy bokeh (ala rokkor and om55 couple of page back). I have 85L for real bokeh anyway, just wanted something to play with.
and a shot with heavy tilt and some swing 180mm symmar lens for this one. Didn't quite do this one wide open, stopped it to f8 so that a bit more fence would be in focus. Looks like most of the fence is in focus on this small image, but really only a thin strip of it is.
I agree. But the comparing photo is not really a challenging background. Small bright dots are a lot harder than the diffused light in Alf's photo that seem to come from one source.
