Haha! No it is *not* Denmark (nor Israel) but the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt
It's funny, people keep telling me that the Zeiss ZE 50 f/1.4 isn't sharp till f/2 or so. I'm no pixel peeper but I'm very happy with the lens and how it performs wide open

I've only had the lens for a little over a week and haven't tested it enough to say how much sharper is becomes from f/2 and down. Basically, I was just enjoying how the lens (and my brand new 5D II) allowed me to shoot hand held at night - and produce results that are within the category of what I consider "sharp"
