Great captures. My only criticism would be that I think you overdid the noise reduction a little too much to the point that they almost look like acrylic paintings. But maybe you meant to do that.
Nice shots. We have them at the backyard feeders during the winter here in north Florida, but the males aren't as colorful at that time of the year. Gregg

Great sharp images. I have the same combination and can't say enough about how well the Mark III is performing. Love the BG's. 4 and 5 are tops

Thanks Anthony.... I have been admiring your shots on FM for awhile now...from seeing yours and Chads shots with the MK3 is what got me to decide to go with the MK3...I'm very glad I did, I have no regrets at all... I'm really impressed with the low noise levels I'm getting with it....most people think I'm using some kind of noise software but I'm not...I'm only using Lightroom for the raw images and the noise slider that it has for shots above 1000 iso....
Very nice, Donald. I tried shooting some of these guys with my flash and Better Beamer and felt that I ended up over exposing and losing some detail. I'd love to capture one or two with this detail (especially #4, which I think is just stellar!).
