AJ, hard for me to critique when I don't have experience with these to compare. So, they are sweet Actually when I think of seeing a hummer I only see wing blur, what I remember is the body or the flash of the 'gorget' learned that from Tony (Imagemaster). So I except wing blur of varying degree but prefer to see some definition vs almost invisible detail.
So I very much like #1, #3 and #4

I'd say you did very good Aj. I like the fact that the wings are blurred but with some detail. I'm not much for hummers at the feeder though. It just doesn't have the same feel as a flower or flight shot. So for me 1 and 4

I'm not sure about the wing blur in the first two but I know I do like it in the third one! 4 is my favorite. Nice job.

Thanks Tim. I have been trying to get some cleaner stop action on the wings as I finally had some good light. Typically, I am shooting speeds below 1/250th. I agree that some wing motion is preferred. Thanks for looking and commenting.
They are all nice shots AJ, with beautiful lighting and sharp detail. I'm not a fan of feeders in the shots, so I'll go with 1 and 4. I do am a fan of wings blur in hummer shots, though, since this is how I see them in real life, so I really enjoyed seen this set. Well done,
Socrate
