Really? In the Wedding forum we discuss techniques directly (though perhaps not exclusively) related to Weddings - presumably in Sport they also do the same. I'm not sure why you think techniques for shooting wildlife shouldn't be discussed in the wildlife forum?
But hey, no biggie, I don't wish to intrude into another of Jim's masterclasses.....

You also see at least in the sport forum that the moderator move all the technique and lens discussions to the Canon gear forum all the time.
