I had a maternity shoot the other day and thought this one would look good as a virtual oil. This is a picture of the big sister who is 8 years old. The mom is due July 9th.

This is absolutely gorgeous! What do you mean by virtual oil? Is it like smudging,Painter? Wonderful arwork!!
Thanks for the comments! Virtual Oil is really smudge painting done in Photoshop. From what I have heard, Painter is a much better program to use, but I don't have it so I use Photoshop.

Thanks again!

Nice work Tim ,, for smudge painting you cant do better than Photoshop , for actual digital painting Painter is the ticket although Photoshops brush engine is as capable as Painters just you need to create your own brushes , even with Painter I find you still end up in PS to finish final image tweaking .

Rod,
Is it difficult to learn Painter? I would like to give it a try, but if the learning curve is anywhere near that of Photoshop I don't think I would have the time.
