War time weekend photos! your learned opinions please. i just started to get serious into photography although i have owned a D70s previously and upgraded to a D300 that really shows crisp, sharp and vibrant shots. using a 70-200mm VR lens here...

any opinions on these photos would be greatly appreciated. thank you all!

are you working on a calibrated monitor? everything seems super-saturated - very orange/pink.

also - just note the rule that in people forum we're limited to one new thread each day, especially where you've posted some of the same pictures in multiple threads

good luck

hello ksmahgrts,
i will take note not to post more than 1 new thread a day. thank you for the reminder.

do you have a photo that shows its original as well as an enhanced image, that is not overly saturated?

thank you.

I don't know about the saturation being that much of a problem... #1 and #3 look good, and I think #4 may just be an issue of the white balance being too warm.

D300, are you shooting in RAW or JPG? Try opening #4 in Adobe Camera Raw (from either Bridge or Photoshop) and knocking the WB down by 300-500 degrees... does that seem better to you? You might also try using the white in her tie (was it actually white?) to get neutral white balance.
