I had an awesome opportunity to shoot Samantha and Greg's wedding on saturday (6.7.08). It was a mid-afternoon occasion and the sun was pretty harsh. We made the best of it and gave 'er. The location was The Reata in Oakdale, CA (my new favorite venue). Special thanks to the uber talented Conrad Lim and Issa who came up to second and assist me. Conrad is definitely Ed Pingol junior and Issa is Monica. They've got the strobe stuff down. He took some great shots while I was with the girls an
d schmoozing with vendors. C&C welcome. Slideshow on my blog. http://scottandrewfinephotography.blogspot.com/
Quick edit: light PP done in LR, I'll do some touch-up as needed (skin-tones, hair, shadows) when I get some time in PS.

23. I suck at ring shots and yes, they were shot hand held. Which one you like?

scott man, way too many to comment on. In general it looks like you well know what you are doing. that shoe shot is interesting, never seen it done like that before. I also like ur ring shot with the branches, very creative. I think the shadow shot (16) would do better with a little crop. I am usually not a fan of tilts but #17 looks good.
woah buddy...slow down with the pingol comment..lol..im honored, but not even CLOSE to deserve that kind of comparison. :b..
but Dude it was a blast hanging out with you, I love the flare shot, it's a good thing I brought Iza along to help out huh? She did come in handy..haha
These are just great Scott. 1 and 17 are really awesome. As for the ring shot, I prefer number 2. The platinums against the wood really adds contrast. So you partied without me ah. Venue is too cool man. Bride pretty too.
thanks guys/gals it was a great day and a great couple...
quan-thanks, i might try a couple different crops, honestly i don't tilt much, but i did a few this time.
conrad-dude, you and iza rocked it...watch out ed! haha.
sam...yeah bro, i knew we wouldn't be able to party for long, until we both got booked up, but let me know when you need a hand. keep up the good work.
Hi, I love the sign above the dress.. Two deep breaths.. seems appropriate. How did you light that shot? I really love the moody lighting, did you get this through natural or atificial lighting, I would love to know as I want to get this kind of style pictures eventually. I'm only new and picking up the ropes still, before I can even attempt to learn them
