Amazing series Chris!!!! SO hard to pick a favorite but I am loving the shots of the hawk landing with the snake/snack. Of course the chick shot is also amazing.

Great series Chris, Now we all know "What's for dinner?" with Red-Tails. The rattlesnake series is truly amazing. What is the area where the RT's might have caught the snake ie, state,city, forest, park etc. Thank you, Gene. They hunt in a mixed area of homes and business parks with a golf course very close by they seem to concentrate their efforts over. The snakes likely come from the sage scrub in the open areas.
Gene Hey, Gene. So good to hear from you. Hope all is well. Been extremely busy with some building projects, but Johnny Bravo and I got to go to High Island last month and then I got to spend 4 days down at S. Padre island with Vic Murayama, both trips were fantastic! Hope to see you out here soon.

Steve Thank you, Steve. Once they've layed there eggs. they are protected, so if they return ever tell the building owners. These hawks had their nest removed the 1st year but were persistent and rebuilt right away and we were able to stop them from removing the 2nd nest. Now the owners are incredibly proud of "their" hawks and block off a section of the parking area below the nest to accomadate them and keep the cars clean as well.
