Well, I must admit he did not actually say this

but that what was going through my mind when I took the picture. And yes, I know it's a bit of a cliché but I hope it's at least a well photographed cliché.

Thanks. I'm glad you liked it.

BTW, only after I took the shot I noticed how the mouth is framed by the lower hand. As I see it, it's an added bonus as I was so concentrated on the eye when I took the shot I noticed nothing else.

wow, nice shot. Is it an optical illusion, or is the eye in focus magnified somehow? It looks larger than the other eye, but it might just be the difference in light and sharpness.

No optical illusions of any kind. I think it's a different perspective. I was very close to him when I took the shot.
