Hi everyone, I'm in need of a second shooter on June 21st for a wedding in Washington, DC.

Anyone have any ideas on where to look for qualified 2nd shooters? How did everyone find their 2nd's?

Call around to other studios to see if any of the area pros are free. And if you're a member of DWF, post the job on there. The Positions Available thread is pretty active.

Type of wedding
Gains from working with you (example. Get to keep pictures)

I'm sure you'll get more sources to start off.

Yeah, but Clay Blackmore's 2nd shooters typically make as much as otherpeople's primary shooters. He shot my daughter's wedding and his 2nd shooter (Calvin Hayes) was the photographer who shot will smith's wedding.
They're definitely the high priced spread.
