I just saw this thread for the first time too - neat series.
Someone asked what the hawk was but there was no answer. It's one of the more extreme colour variants of Red-tailed Hawk - a rufous morph.
Having the "wrong" settings is why I shoot only raw. It still doesn't save me from other wrong settings, like ISO, shutter speed and f-stop, though
