p.1 #2 · Mustang in garage

Shot 1: I like this photo. Good choice of crop, leaves enough in to identify the car, excludes anything extraneous. I also like the exposure, and the relative evenness of the exposure across the subject that is shown. Some might find it dark, but that adds to the interest of the shot. This shot invites me to think of what nefarious purpose I'm going to put the car to, and the door handle included in the shot is there to grab and go. If there is anything of a downside, it would be that although the subject looks pretty sharp at this size, at 120 f/4.5 it's going to be fuzzy not on the focal plane when enlarged. A tripod and F/11 would have helped.

Shot 2: Doesn't do it for me. ISO noise is very visible on any painted surface. Subject illumination falls off excessively front and right rear. Front of car is cropped off. Post in background detracts. House in front blocks express exit, suppressing getaway fantasies. Reflection below beltline detracts in this shot (can see trees reflected, contrast to simple geometric reflection in 1 which enhances.) Reflection on rear valance detracts. I like that the tires don't show and are left to the imagination to fill in, also just visible exhaust tips are nice.

I agree with Dark Slider on 2 - too much noise. Also way too busy behind.

Use a tripod and go back to iso 100 is the first suggestion.

1st I don't like the door or whatever it is hinting through. But the framing is very nice. Nice (low) perspective adds interest.
