The exif data is missing - what are the details?
The exposure is good and it is nice to have the image leading up the stairs but for me it lack pizazz.
I think because it is not leading up to anything in particular. And it is not clear what the subject is and what your are trying to say. As well the pipes don't fit with the vintage. I think you could make this work with a person looking down or a person climbing but as is it does not have a story.
It could use some work on highlights/shadows to make the details come out more.
