I'd say you did a great job of gettin close Jude. Capture number 1 is the best only because of they eye contact.

Nicely done getting closer to these skittish birds. The colours look really oversaturated though.

Jude, I'd say you did extremely well ... that first one is an extremely fine shot. You couldn't get better color than that....

Nice first shot, Jude. I bet the colours would actually look better on a cloudy day. In the second and third shots, it looks like you are getting a lot of sunlight reflection, probably because the feathers are wet or have a sheen to them. Would be interesting to see same two shots taken with a polarizing filter.

I couldn’t disagree with you Karl. It’s amazing how fredmiranda has been able to put all the people who have the same passion to allow to share their work and ideas. I have gain lot of insight and learning by seen other forum members work. After all the internet and fred has made the world so small for myself and all the forum members.
