This used to buy you a gallon of gas (yes... its true) but today these are best off being used for an online photo contest

I got you beat on age then. When I was a kid just one of those would buy a gallon of gas with enough left over for a candy bar or a soda.

Actually when I was really young I remember 31 cent gas and a Big Hunk bar was 5 cents. When it hit 61 cents I remember my mom having a hissy fit. Funny times

I used to live at 72nd and Military. Remember "gas wars"? A station down the street was selling it for 17 cents.
