Very nice Tim,
the last two are my pick...
Lil
Thanks Lil, I was a bit nervous about the Rhodie.

Neat poses on the first two!
It's hard to train them to do that!!

Tim, thank god there is an explanation to go with #2 That is a wild shot, very cool. Those feather markings are gorgeous on them. Although the low angle of the Shoveler in #4 is nice, the Mallard in #5 steals the show, that is a winner for me
Now a about the flower................only one ahhhhh come on man! Those delicate paper whites are pure and beautiful. Lots of detail and a very good start to another possible addiction. Thanks for the dedication, needed that man
Nice job buddy.............Karl
Karl, it's a toss up for me, the mallard or 2. I'm not kidding when I say I was thinking of you and Terry when I was looking at that rhodie. I was on the lookout for a kingfisher but couldn't find one. I then saw the nice white flowers in soft light. The only problem was that I wasn't set up for it. Thanks for the kind words and being the muse sitting on my shoulder and giving me that little push.

Wonderful shots Tim. Although the head is nowhere to be found, I like the feather detail in #2. Second favorite is the last one, very nice.
Doug
Thanks Doug, that is why I posted 2, I had some others where you could see the head but I thought it was better without it!

Very nice work. I love the gadwall poses. They must be practicing their yoga.
Harsha
Maybe that is why they are so at peace with me so close!! Thanks Harsha.

Beautiful shots, Tim. Clean, very well exposed, and with fine detail. # 3, and 5 are my favorites. Great pose captured in the first shot.
Socrate
Socrate, thanks for the kind words. I'm learning from you! I like 5 a great deal myself, that one was very good right out of the camera.

Congratulations on your first flower posting Tim. Its nice to see a full bloom of flowers getting attention. I posted one something like this a while back and got lots of useful advice including on isolating one flower instead of the whole bloom and I know this type of photo can be really spectacular but I still think the full bloom can make a beautiful photo.
Martin
Thanks Martin, I struggle with isolating a single flower. I have to agree with you, a single flower may be the better way to go but sometimes the whole bloom looks a bit more natural.
