My daily ritual for the last few days has been to manage the birth of about 600 praying mantises. On day one of this little guy’s life, his daily ritual started by going after little bugs and critters that devour my wife’s garden. Many use pesticides to combat what nature can provide. Go Green!
Hey Tom,
Wow, what a great shot. I love it. The only suggestion I might make is to crop it in a bit tighter. My eye goes first to the blurred flower on the right, instead of toward the focal point. Just an opinion.
I like this shot. I can understand it as well, I randomly found a baby praying mantis in my friends house among his poker chips. I had never seen one, so frail and beautiful!

Great work.
Thank you for your comments and suggestion. I cropped off the area that made your eye look at the blurred flower on the right. Hope you like it better.
Thank you,
Tom

Thank you and yes they are very frail and amazing to observe as they grow.

The color just radiates doesn't it! That little arc of light in his antenna is a really neat accent. Well done!
Tamara,
Thank you for your kind comments.
