You're a good soldier Doug... when duty calls... Hey, did you ever think about cutting a hole in your screen... you wouldn't have to run outside in your undies then... you could just sip and shoot.

Wow, it sure looks like the view for your morning coffee beats mine. I get to see rush-hour traffic heading by. The closest I'll come to seeing wildlife at breakfast is when my cat decides to yawn, turn around, and go back to sleep.
Jay
Thanks Jay. You may see rush hour traffic some mornings, but you wake up to the sounds of Africa on many a morning too!

Very Nice set . Although the visual of a guy in boxers and a camera running out of a house is disturbing . With all that in your backyard you must not have any close neighbors anyway. Well done!
Thanks John. I used to have neighbors, but they all moved...something about they didn't like their view

Great shots, Doug. Some would walk a mile for a camel. You drank cold coffee for the animals. What noble sacrifices we go through to look through a piece of glass.
Thanks for the look Michael. Sacrifices must be made!

Great shots...

Thnaks Terry. I would have cut the screen, but I took it out because a Robin built it's nest 3 feet from the window. I won't even have to leave the house for those shots!
Doug, these are all great shots. For sheer beauty, I really like the deer images with their reflection in the pond. However, I don't see many coyotes, so those were my favorites.
It must be great to have the wildlife come to you, like that! Now, I wonder if they were dropping by for a cup of coffee or if that coyote just wanted to see what you look like in boxers. When he saw you (carrying something that looks like a bazooka) coming after him in your boxers, I can't imagine why he took off running!
I would agree with everyone else who said..."the shots were definitely worth returning to a cold cup of Joe."

Great stuff Doug! How in the world do you get all these wildlife to come visit you, do fly bys and aerial acrobatics... etc ?
Love your shots !
Ray
Thank you Ray. I talk to them very nicely and say "pretty please" a lot!

Thanks Dave, appreciate the comments. I think it was a wierd combination of the java and Peeping Tom tendencies of the coyote, you gotta watch those guys!

Doug, I'll trade you a truckload of the best hot or iced coffee you've ever had for your backyard. Wow, the coyote captures are great, the deer captures are beautiful. Even a Redtail! Wow...
Maggie-
Your comment really cracked me up- I was thinking the exact same thing!
