These are a few from San Francisco zoo. Unfortunately I believe the tiger might be the one that escaped on Xmas day and was shot

All taken with the 5D and 100-400L IS.

The lioness is my favourite.

Very Nice captures. I too Like the Tiger. I think they should have just shot the dumbass kids and spared the Tiger. The Tiger would definitely provide more to society that the derelicts that caused it's death.

Great mix here Whayne. First one has great impact. That is one awesome job you did on the profile shot of the lion, outstanding light and great tonal range. Tiger is looking 3D on my screen

Thankyou very much Roger, Karl and Doug, I'm glad you liek them.

I love the detail of the male lion's fur and the full size version looks even better. 5D can certainly deliver amazing IQ with good glass.
