I'd prefer it if it didn't have that bush on the left or the college/library in the back. I also think it's lacking contrast, whether on them or the sky. Using an off-camera flash will let you do that even if the sky isn't that magnificent. Put a CTG on if you want it all purple/pink, put a CTB on if you want it all yellow/orange, or a CTO on if you want the sky blue. Then you just compensate the sliders in post with your RAW file. You're screwed if you shoot jpegs, though.

I'm curious - what focal length is this, and is it a DX or FX camera?

I think its a beautiful image. Could be tighter and from a lower angle. I like seeing the building in the background, especially if its the reception location. Always good to have a good reference to the location presented somewhere in the imagery. I believe the contrast, colors, lighting are all good. They could be framed off center as well. If this was a completely set up image then definitely could be composed better. However if was a completely spontaneous moment, then you nailed it. Nice work for your first wedding. Makes me miss the land of entrapment!

Why does this matter? Seems to be a 40D with a 24-105.

I guess if I had looked at the EXIF data I wouldn't have asked that question, would I? My bad. Looks like it was shot at 105.

I assumed a Nikon camera given the OP's name, wrong there too.

I was a guest at the wedding and I did not want to get in the way of the paid photog, so I had to be able to move. I did crop it a bit so I can move them to the right or left if i need too. Also they just called me to let me know that Town & Country would like to use it in a story on them or something. That is kind of cool!! As for my name I just moved to Canon about a year ago and you can't change your name here. I get alot of flack for it but what can I do. Also how can you check the EXIF data on my pic?

Nice shot -- what white balance setting were you using?

Not to steal the thread -- but it stinks that you can't change your name. I just got married and I'm stuck with my maiden name as my user name forever...

I just dropped the image into Opanda IExif:

http://www.opanda.com/en/iexif/index.html

I think if you had done a "save for web" in Photoshop it would strip out the exif data, if you wanted to.
