The Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge, where more than 43,000 acres of southern New Jersey coastal habitats are actively protected and managed for migratory birds.
I visited this place late last year. This will be my first full spring in the area and looking forward to a full season.
Not to much going on this early and will return before months end to check out progress of the migratory birds.

No he fussed a bit and finally raised his head and gulped them both down. Shot 1 was his sip of water after the swollowing
I would be excited too. What is this new bird? I'm surprised the heron got them both down. I'm betting that he did a good head shake once they went down. I always get a laugh out of that. Looking forward to your future posts from there, good luck.
