You sure got some good light here. I love all that frilly breeding plumage, and your choice of pulling back to show its environment instead of cropping to bring the GBH closer.
Nice capture of this GBH, Jim. I really like these birds (especially in flight). I don't get many that seem happy to have their picture taken. Well done.
These are nice Jim, beautifull colors and spot on exposures. but I think they could be even better, such as moving the GBH away from the center of the picture and giving it more space to look into. I took the first shot and redid it. What do you think. Verno
