Set up was tripod and remote shutter release. Average exposures were 35 seconds at f8 to f11, iso from 200 to 400.

No thunder means the lightning was very high up. The noise just got lost in the distance.
Is the 1st photo a composite Wally? Because if it's not, that's one heck of a lightning.

Dave they were 35 second exposures on average at f8 to f11 iso 200 to 400.

Bazlit long exposure not really a composite.
