A bit of varitety here. The shovelers were taken in low light while the others in mid-afternoon. My 5D turned 10,000 during the shovelers shooting, a proud moment in any parents life! Any and all C&C is welcome.

1 Male northern shoveler.

Nice series Tim. Excellent job on #4, the whites seems a tad hot on the male shovelers, my favorite is the last one, nice work.

All wonderful images - #5 is may favorite, but I can't explain why - maybe the cuteness factor?

Hi Tim - Shovelers are one of my favorites, especially when you can capture them with their bill out of water.

You've also included another of my faves, the Gadwall, the most elegant duck around, and as #5 shows...irresistable. Excellent capture
