A couple of months ago I took this shot of a Dusky Leaf Monkey, staring straight into the camera at the Adelaide Zoo, Australia. The monkey was slightly backlight which helped highlight the white wiffs of hair on his head, i used fill flash to ensure the face was correctly exposed.

Taken with a Canon 1d mark II, 300 2.8IS, 2x, fill flash @f/6.3, 1/125sec

That's a wonderful shot of the monkey.

I looked at the others too and both lion shots are fantastic, but the kangaroo shot...wow. I won't say on this forum what it looks like he's trying to say though...
