this is the smallest bird I've ever photographed, you just can't have enough mm's with these guys. Cactus Wrens and Say's were notably absent on my last trip to Palm Springs but these guys moved in, they must love HOT weather. The splotches of yellow are brittlebush blooming in the background.

Laura, #2 is stunning--FANTASTIC!
I spend a little bit of time in Arizona--and my image of a Verdin was sure not like these--difficult, fast moving bird--You really did well here.
