My comments below are not a criticism of you, your model, or your talent.
I offer them to help you with a different POV.
Lovely model.
She obviously has very striking features and beautiful eyes.
I don't care for the #1 image as it appears to shorten her face and make the top half of her head dominate due to the POV and closeness to the camera. It appears as "distortion" of the facial features, though this is minor enough that many people would not notice it and would simply say: "Nice eyes."
What lens and focal length did you use? Telling us the basic technical info will help with better comments and suggestions.
I do like the #2 image better.
I also like the use of light in both.
I prefer the BW image despite the lovely blue eyes. It is because of the use of light and the shadowy look to this image #1.
I hope these comments help you.
Now, I hope you will help me too. A little "take and give" if you will. I would like your Impressions on any of my work as described in the following link. First one would have benefitted greatly from a 'hair light'...the back of her head is far too dark on my monitor. Not convinced with the pose / composition either...it's just not really doing anything for me.
The second one I like a lot more! There seems to be a lack of pop in her face however, something that you managed to do well in the first shot.
