Amazing detail. I looks like you could pet them between shots. Very nice.

Hey Gene I think that Killdeer thinks it's a Robin. I love your shots of ol' Wily. They are all just excellent. You must be feeding him something to make him so trusting

Gene, each of these is excellent. Not sure why but I like the merganser the best, but the coyote shots are also very captivating.

I love the coyote images. Great detail, beautiful backgrounds, perfect choice of DOF's. First two look almost 3d, coming out of the frame.

Gene, I finally found a little time to look in on FM and I am very glad I did. I was treated to these wonderful shots - amazing. Looks like the guy has some recovery due to the scratch or bite along the back side of the left ear. It looks just like wounds my dogs used to get. Wonderful job! Steve W - Oh - the birds were great also.

Great shots all, but the coyotes are incredible! I'm a big fan of the stalking shot. Nice work as always!

These are all fantastic, but number 3 for me is the winner. You've captured this guy's cautious and sneaky nature in a very "in your face" kind of way. BEAUTIFULLY composed. I'm envious of all of these.

Thanks Peggy - glad you enoyed

Thanks Bill.

Well, sorta. He and his mate live on restored prairie - about 2k acres - where I work. This is quite unusual and I think is a result of spring fever I have never seen them so bold before though.

I have forrest preserve strip behind my house with Coyotes around most of the time - I don't shoot them.

Cheers,
Gene
