Great pictures, Mirek. I don't know if your flannel flower pictures belong here or not, but they appear as closeup so the Macro forum may be appropriate. Also, there are flower shooters in there and very talented macro photographers.

I see nothing wrong with posting flower pictures here, since they are nature. But like Joe said, if you are doing a lot of macro, the folks in the Macro Forum might be more responsive.

*edit* Now that I think about it, they aren't 1:1, so they aren't technically macro.

Nice photo's, Mirek! I can't see why they wouldn't be appropriate for this forum. It is "Nature & Wildlife" afterall, not "Birds".

So that's what Flannel flowers look like, is it? Now why did I think they'd be plaid...

my favorite is the last. On the second one.... see that leaf/grass on the left side in the frame. Try to look for stuff like that when you take the shot in order to eliminate such things as they're distracting.

All three are nice shots. But my favorite is the last.
