First time submission for me. I got into a new SUV this last week and took some pictures, i figure that since we're on technology, id like to share this photo. Every year people are trained to be lazy...

Very modern looking image. And perfectly lit. However, I think it needs a point of reference. Without the title we wouldn't know what it starts/stops.

A good photo, nonetheless.

Chad,

Thank you for the comment and criticism, I post here to learn more and grow as a photographer. My question, what would be an example of a point in reference in this image?

After further examination, i think it would be better if i widened my DoF and have the "engine" more in focus? Would that be a better reference?
