p.1 #1 · Which one do you like

My teacher wants me to shoot a photo that is under the theme of "out of place."

I have shot these 2 tulips. What do you guys think? Which one should I hand in??

I like 2nd best but it would be better with the right leaf in.

The reason I like it better is you are trying to contrast the snow with the flower and thus the whole flower and snow are needed. The first is more like a frame where you would not notice the background (more subtle).

hi todd,

color and exposure is nice in both, but neither crop is really strong for me. i'm more drawn to the composition of #2, but distracted by the amputated leaf. PS it maybe?

You should've tried shooting from the bottom or at the flower's level. It would definitely look better

The last one is much better for me with all the leaves. I think i would crop about 1/4 of the space above .
