I noticed that escaping special characters seems to be a bit screwy, at least in displaying thread titles in lists. Here's an example (pop up to view it in the list of threads): https://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/664401
It is probably happening because the truncation routine occurs before escapement. A simple swap of the function calls should fix it.
I think this must be more user error (my chair-keyboard interface), but I'm not sure where else to ask...
I used to be able to post images by pointing to an image of mine on my website. I can't seem to figure out how to do that now. I seem to remember a button about adding a frame to an image, or something like that.

Right-click on your image. Copy and paste the URL of the image into your message-board post. It's as simple as that.
when I send a PM it takes a long time to be sent , sometime 30 minutes
so I could miss a deal when the speed is everything in the buy and sell forum
eric
Eric,
That should not happen at all.
Once you send a PM, the recepient should get it instantly. What makes you think this is happening? Please let me know.

Getting the above error message when trying to "Send Reply" in any message. 7/21/2008-0550am

Seems as though my inbox is frozen. I can get to new PMs by clicking the email link, but they do not show up in my inbox, so I cannot see new PMs since maybe last week, maybe the week before. I don't need any of them, but would like new ones to show. I'd appreciate your help.
Not a bug, but can't find any other way to communicate with the site owner. (Believe me, I've searched the site. Support is about contributing to FM not help for users.) On July 20, I paid for a one year "FM image upload (yearly)". I like the site and wanted to be able to contribute to it. It's three days later and I still am not able to upload. Is this lag time normal or did something get lost in the mail? Would have thought notification from 2co.com would have triggered a script (maybe in Perl) to change a setting in a user account. Hope it doesn't require manual intervention. Anyway, let me know how this is supposed to work and thanks for an excellent site.

Subscriptions are actually automated. Perhaps it didn't go through. Could you please send an email to [email protected] with your order number / email / name. We will take care of it asap!

I went to delete the second one, which is the last post in the thread and it says it cannot be deleted because it is not the last post. Not a big deal, but not right either.

I could not duplicate the bug. You should be able to delete your 'last' post as long as there were no new posts after it...I will double check the code. Thanks for letting me know.
You know, I had funky internet connection at the time. Could it be that the second post made it to FM before the first one I clicked and things were backwards? I dunno, just a thought.
One thing I've been noticing is when using the "additional smileys" box, it pretty much locks the text box until you close the smileys box. The other thing that happens is that it often doesnt place the smiley where your cursor is..
