Fred:

Thx, appreciate that muchly. I'm willing to bet your server loads go down because of the fix, too.

I'm not sure what the 'My Board Posts' link is supposed to represent, but it shows a whole bunch of other 'Jeffs' who have posted to various threads. I would assume this is supposed to be a link to threads that I've originated, but it appears to not work correctly.

It appears to be a link to a quick search of your username but sorted by date rather than exact match, at least that's the way it works in the B&S forum.

Except for the fact that it apparently searches on 'Jeff', but the results include posts from 'jefft', 'Jeffrey', etc...........

Less of a bug, more of a feature request:

When sending a mail via the forums, it would be nice to have some sort of record of what was sent. I can imagine two ways to make this possible.

One would be for the FM system to keep a copy of the text. This could be a non-trivial amount of work and would probably greatly increase storage requirements on your side.

The other, and much simpler, would be to include a checkbox that says "BCC myself." That way the message gets sent not only to the recipient, but also to the sender.

This would be particularly useful to folks who use the B&S forum and would like a copy of the offer/question/etc that they sent.

I though I was savvy with websites, but I am having some issues with this one.

I cannot find any "support" from some issues. I paid the yearly subscription to upload my pics almost 2 weeks ago now. The upload ability still says "off"

I attempted to find an email or conact email for support anywhere on the site, but could not find any.

Please help.

tkile,
You can always PM or email me if you have any problems with the site. Subscriptions are activated within 24 hours. If your subscription was not activated, perhaps we have an email mismatch (Your subscription email is different than your registered forum email). We always sent an email alerting about the mismatch.
Please PM or email me (sales@fredmiranda.com) including your full name, email address and/or transaction ID (Let me know if you used Paypal or credit card) and I will take care of it asap.
Best,
Fred

This image used to be 1000X1000, and I resized it to 1000X500. Now it always gets displayed stretched back to 1000X1000.

The Page Source Code shows the Forums did remember this image was first posted at 1000X1000 size:
<img width=1000 height=1000 border=0 alt="This image is copyrighted by the owner" src="http://www.alyudesign.com/images/photo/1785-wb2.jpg">

Is there a way to get the image to be displayed at its proper size again?

My pictures are all getting compressed. Let's try one here to demonstrate:

This image is copyrighted by the owner

I've tried all sorts of resizing, nothing helps. Let's try renaming the image...

This image is copyrighted by the owner

Ahh, that seems to do the trick, I don't know why but the html defaults to 900 width.

I was just posting an ad in the Buy/Sell. My photo ended up being over the limit, so I reloaded a smaller sized photo of my product, but it has locked me out from posting my ad for another 8 hours. I wasn't trying to post 2 ads, I was only reworking my original ad to get a proper sized file for upload.

I had a similar problem. Rename the image. That's the only way so far I found that will fix it.

Fred....I made an ad to sell some pocket wizards and had a nice picture. I submitted it and got a message that said it was too large of a picture. I downsized the picture and then resubmitted. I got the message that I can't put another ad in for 12 hours. My first ad never got through so now I have to wait 12 hour because my picture was too large.....This seems like a glitch to me...Brian

Try again and let me know if it does not work.

Fred,

When I sign on through AOL I get post that are over a week old and nothing recent.

If I sign on through Internet Explorer I get a completely different set of post which are still old by several days. In clicking on some post there are some responses that are up to date but very few.

Because this topic has a sticky I can see your response to WestFalcon. Is this on my end or not. All other websites I visit seem okay.

Thanks,

Grant

Grant, make sure you have "View all threads" in the dropdown located at the bottom of the board's page. (See illustration below)
- Also, make sure you have your correct timezone by editing your profile.

Fred - not a bug but if you could add a "end" button to the threads on the "My posts" page so you could go to the last post- it would be great.
