Hi,

I find the DOF a bit too shallow here and it seem to focus on the latch. Perhaps I am missing something. The idea of a phonograph I think is a good one, but for me this doesn't quite capture it, but again maybe I am just being dense. Good luck this month.

yeah, it is pretty shallow. i like the mellowness it gives the frame as a whole. just a judgment call...but i totally hear you. thanks for commenting!

I'm guessing that the point is that it's dusty. It was once cutting edge, but now it is "old technology", obsolete, and neglected. At least that's the message I get. I wish it were a little bit more recognizable.

A nice attempt, but the DoF prevents any real context to be seen. At first the thumbnail looked like a picture of a piano.
