p.1 #1 · Help! Recreating the Persistence of Memory

I'm trying to do a Photographed reproduction of Salvador Dali's Persistence of Memory

Obviously, I can't melt a bunch of clocks, so its going to be heavy on the Photoshop. Does anybody have any suggestions/tips/methods for how to accomplish the bent/melting clock look?

Shoot the clocks/watches at angels needed, and get creative using the Liquify tools available in PS CS2 and above.
