Very nice image. Good shallow dof with the focus on the eyes. Two things I feel could be improved in this image.
1. The subject is too centered for this horizontal crop. Either move a bit to the side or shoot it verticaly.
2. The blue thing on the side distracts a bit. Use a adjustment layer and locally desature this color so it becomes less of a distraction.
I'd try cooling it down a bit too, the whole image looks just a little red to me, if you shot RAW try lowing the colour temperature a little bit, if you shot JPEG add a cooling filter adjustment layer, and play with the opacity to suit.
Well as I say, it's not a lot, just a little too red for my tastes, of course you could have taken it at sunset so perhaps she should be glowing that lovely red ?
Either way, you might say you don't know much about photoshop, but you certainly seem to know how to hold a camera. And you'll never be stuck for people willing to help you out in photoshop here.
