Ive always found these images of staircases really appealing. They just work so well in b & w. Just perfect with the door in the middle. Great shot.

Hey Peter, great shot! I love the brick pattern and shadows cast by the fire escape. I agree with Strad, this was a very suitable candidate for b&w. Good luck this week.

I really like the zig zag the escape stairway makes across the field of view. The use of b/w is perfect. The linear lines of the bricks contrasts nicely with the angled stairs. Well done.

I'm enjoying the variety of entries this week. Working on this shot made me feel like I was back in the darkroom during my college days.....doing the B&W graphically interesting but somewhat sterile image. Your comments are endearing! and appreciated!
